Contacts — one list for email and WhatsApp
Add, import and label contacts once and use them everywhere in Thenexi — email campaigns, outreach and WhatsApp — with consent per channel.
Thenexi has one contact list shared by Newsletters, Email Campaigns, WhatsApp Campaigns and the rest of the app. A contact can have an email, a mobile number, or both.
Add a contact
Marketing → Contacts → Add contact (or + New contact in WhatsApp Campaigns and Email Campaigns):
- Name and Company.
- Email and/or Mobile / WhatsApp — pick the country code, then the number.
- Switches: Email newsletters (they get your campaigns) and WhatsApp messages (they agreed to WhatsApp).
- How did they agree to hear from you? — e.g. customer, signed up on your website, or business contact (outreach only).
- Labels — type and press Enter, e.g.
customer,vip,dubai. Campaigns are sent to everyone with a label. - More details — website, city, industry, birthday (for greetings), notes.
If someone with the same email or phone already exists, Thenexi updates that contact instead of making a copy.
Import and export
Import CSV — needs an email column (name, phone, company, labels, birthday optional). Confirm the people agreed to hear from you. Export downloads all contacts.
Badges
- Outreach only — a business contact without newsletter consent: never gets newsletters.
- WhatsApp — agreed to WhatsApp messages.
- No email — reachable on WhatsApp only.
Unsubscribed people can only sign up again themselves.
